Another top 10 for Tudor Pro Cycling in Giro d'Italia
After Michael Storer's excellent performance in the second stage of the Giro d'Italia, Alberto Dainese finished in the top 10 in the third day of racing.
The Italian sprinter from the Swiss team found himself slightly boxed in during the finishing straight, and as a result, he was somewhat disappointed with the outcome.
Dainese said: "When Pogacar made his move, and both he and Geraint Thomas were caught, I was already pushing my limits. I had to brake a bit next to the barriers. I felt a bit disappointed, but there are more opportunities in the next few days."
Tomorrow, stage 4, is one of those days where, according to Dainese, 'positioning is crucial'. The Capo Melé climb lasts around 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Then, it's a fast sprint to the finish line. I hope to be up there again."
